How long do cheek fillers last?
Cheek fillers are not permanent, and this means they will disappear after around 12 months. The exact time will depend on the metabolism of your own body, so for some people the dermal fillers may need to be re-injected after around 6 to 8 months, while others will last for 14 months.
Do cheek filler injections hurt?
Cheek filler injections can be uncomfortable throughout the procedure, but this would not be classed as painful. A numbing cream will be applied to help reduce any pain. This will also help with pain and recovery after the treatment. After the treatment there may be some swelling and bruising. This is totally normal and should subside within 24 hours.
How long does the procedure last?
The whole procedure will only take around 45 minutes, but you should follow the aftercare instructions for the following 24 hours. You can continue with your day to day activities, straight after the cheek filler injections, as there is no recovery time.
